I have just discovered the TV series "Girls" and the other day I was watching an episode when this amazing song was featured. Does anybody know if a full-length album was ever released?

In my opinion it is fair to call Hot Hot Heat a one hit wonder. But then again, this is a song that I like a lot and back in the days it certainly was worth the airplay no matter if their career never really took off following this single.

Speaking about boring concerts, back in 2009 I saw Arctic Monkeys at the Way Out West festival in Gothenburg and I actually left the concert because every song sounded exactly the same in my ears and nothing seemed to happen at stage.

Since then, like El Perro Del Mar, I have not really paid any attention to Arctic Monkeys. But as I have said before and as I will likely say again, “never say never”, I must admit that I kind of like their latest single.

A couple of years ago, well maybe more than a couple of years; I saw El Perro Del Mar live and my summit of the concert was that a rather boring experience. You know a singer/songwriter artist that did not seem that inspired on stage singing songs that I have heard a million times before made by other artists.

Since then I have not paid any attention at all to El Perro Del Mar until last Friday when I once again crossed paths with El Perro Del Mar.

And what a surprise, the boring singer/songwriter type of music was apparently long gone replaced by a smooth, delicate electronic sound. Wow, such a differences and so much better.

September 1^st, autumn is “officially here”. I for sure do hope that the rain and the clouds and the lower temperatures and the waterfronts will remain far away from my neighbourhood but I guess one have to wait and see.

Håkan Hellström may be the artist headlining Popaganda tonight. What I am looking forward to the most though is Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

I have to my best knowledge never heard the band before but I have heard a lot of good things about them. I do hope that quite a surprise is awaiting me tonight.

It is time to visit the last festival of the summer. It feels kind of sad to write those exact words but my festival season of 2013 is yet not finished, more about that later… Like in October.

But first things first, today I am heading to the Popaganda festival for the first time in a few years’ time.  The main reason that I am heading there is the main act of tonight namely The XX.
