"Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence."

A couple of years ago I went to the movies to see "Watchmen", seldom have 2 hours and 40 minutes passed so quickly. In particular I was spellbound by two scenes.
One of them is the scene where it is explained how the character “Doctor Manhattan” became Doctor Manhattan. The other one is the funeral of the character “The Comedian”.
The latter one is accompanied by this song that which in itself is a fantastic song. But when used in this scene... Absolutely breathtaking.
Simon & Garfunkel - The sound of silence is found on the record “Sounds of silence” released in 1966.
