I am not old enough to have experienced the ‘60s but I have for sure listened a lot to music made in the ‘60s. One thing that have struck me is that it seem to have been a difficult time, many songs contain lyrics about death, accidents and my favourite subjects broken hearts and love no more.

This song catches the latter two subjects in a ‘60s nutshell. One of those songs that always bring a tear to my eye.
