A person that once upon a time was a member of a country “super-group”, The Highwaymen, is Kris Kristofferson. The other members were Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson so it was indeed a super-group.

Nevertheless I strongly feel that Kris Kristofferson is at his very best when he is performing under his own name. I have spent hours and hours listening to his often very sad lyrics. And you know me by now, sad lyrics and I am there!

There are so many songs that I am tempted to pick today but in the end I decided go with this one, so incredible sad that it is painful to listen to.

Yet irresistible.
